Hello folks my name Gary for northumberland been shooting,beating,etc for alot of years,hope to have a chat soon

well apart from beaters days thats another season over with.on the whole been a good one,met lots of new freinds in the shooting field.most noticeably mark(maor1502) and his daughter isabella.both complete novices who rearly took to beating like ducks to water and ian (wobbs) and his daughter chloe.also met ians family who i am pleased to call freinds.over all a few trials and tribulations but a very good season had.looking forwards to the next one.how did your season go.

As last year my shoot is running free dog training classes during the close season.

The classes are geared for beginners, novice and more advanced and are run on Sunday afternoons near Newnham on Severn in Gloucestershire.

They will commence as soon as the seasons over and the lighter nights are here, so at the end of March.

Nick has come beating at our shoot a few times this season, but has not been heard of for a while and ive tried to email/phone him and had no response over the last couple of weeks. i know of another shoot he regularly attends has had the same problem. has anyone heard from him in the last couple of weeks?!

Competent mature shot seeks game shooting either in a syndicate or on let days for the 2012/13 season. Cost not a barrier within reason. Small friendly shoot more important than large bag.

Hi Folks, just came across the forum and thought I'd sign up for a looksee. I'm 49 based in South Yorks with an interest in country sports. I fly a harris hawk and like shooting (have air rifle and a couple of shottys) and hope to get a whippet in a few months to bring on ready for next year.

I now it's early, but might as well make a start now. I'm looking for some picking up for next season in the Surrey, Hampshire, Berks area. Ideally 40 miles radius of Guildford.
